Nokia X6 smartphone arrived back in the middle of may and now it looks like it’s time for the next smartphone from the portfolio of the Finnish brand. The Nokia X5 will be announced on July 11, as the company confirmed on weibo.
The launch event will take place in Beijing at around 8 PM local time, which means we will have all the details regarding the upcoming smartphone by the end of Wednesday.
The Nokia X5 is rumoured to carry the name Nokia 5.1 Plus on the global scene and will come with the Helio P60 processor. According to some previous information, the MediaTek Chipset will be coupled with 3/4 GB RAM.
The screen is most likely to be notched with an HD+ resolution and 19:9 ratio. The dual camera set-up on the rear of the smartphone will be 13 MP + 5 MP and as per the information provided by TENAA, the battery will be 3,000 mAh.
The prices for the upcoming device is expected to start from CNY800 for the most affordable memory combo and go as high as CNY1,000. This translates to around approx $120-$150, which really makes the new and upcoming Nokia X5 an absolute bargain for all the Nokia fans out there.
