Just recently, HMD Global released the Nokia 5.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 2.1 mid-range smartphones. But now according to a new leak it looks like the company has already started working on an upgraded edition of the Nokia 5.1 known as the Nokia 5.1 Plus. HMD Global launched the Nokia 5.1 with a 18:9 display and a single camera set-up but now it’s upgraded edition the Nokia 5.1 Plus is expected to come with a lot of significant improvements. The Nokia 5.1 Plus smartphone which has reportedly been leaked in renders and a 360-degree video revealed some of it’s key features or specifications such as notch display and dual rear camera.
From the leaked rendered video, the Nokia 5.1 Plus smartphone will most probably be sporting a 5.7 inch display along with a notch on the top exactly like the Nokia X6. This device will also be the second ever smartphone from Nokia to be launched with a notch display. The upcoming smartphone will be having a metal encasing which is also seemingly similar to the Nokia X6. The dimensions of the smartphone will be 149.5 x 71.9 mm and it’s thickness will be around 8 mm. Not to forget, an alleged image of the Nokia X6 also got leaked which is based mainly on the rendered video only. Both of these alleged leaks have come exclusively from TigerMobiles, which has a pretty good track record when it comes to the smartphone leaks.

As of now, these rendered leaks only gives us a brief idea of what the final product will look like but considering the fact that these are only leaks, it is very much possible that the final device may look quite different from the leaks. The rendered video also revealed that the Nokia 5.1 Plus will feature a dual rear camera set-up along with a great fingerprint sensor and the bottom side of the smartphone reportedly shows a much wanted USB Type-C port. Under The Hood, the device will be powered by a mid-range MediaTek Helio P23 processor. Many rumors also say that the smartphone might be launched at the IFA 2018 event which is reportedly starting from August 31. However, the company hasn’t confirmed any of this so we still have to wait for the official announcement.
