The Chinese Smartphone Manufacturing Giant “Xiaomi” is reportedly working on a new Smartphone which is rumoured to be powered by the powerful Snapdragon 638 Processor. This upcoming device from the Chinese Smartphone maker “Xiaomi” was recently spotted on GeekBench By a very famous tech news Website “GizmoChina”. The device was reportedly codenamed as “Valentino” in the GeekBench listing and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 638 Processor clocked at around 1.44GHz as per the Listing on the GeekBench Website. The GeekBench listing also revealed that the phone runs on the Android V8.1 Oreo along with 6GB of RAM. Xiaomi Valentino somehow managed to obtain 1485 points in the GeekBench Single-Core Test and 5440 points in the GeekBench Multi-Core Tests. By looking at both the single-core and multi-core points, it certainly looks like the Snapdragon 638 Chipset performs way better on single-core when compared to the Snapdragon 650 processor but however a little bit lower than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.
The Redmi Note 5 Pro was Xiaomi’s most recent launch of their Smartphone series and was powered by the Snapdragon 636 Processor. The Chinese Electronics Maker Xiaomi had also previously launched the Mi Mix 2S which also became one of the first Smartphone in the tech industry to be running on the Snapdragon 845 SoC. Well, talking of the Redmi Note 5 Pro, just recently Xiaomi has announced a pretty big price spike on the 4GB variant of the phone which will now cost Rs 1,000 extra. This price spike on the Redmi Note 5 Pro certainly gives it’s competitors especially the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 a pretty big advantage over the Redmi Note 5 Pro in terms of the pricing of both the phones which is a pretty crucial point when it comes to the ever growing phone market.
Speaking of the amazing Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1, this was certainly one of the most recently launched smartphones by Asus in the Indian Smartphone Industry and was available to pre-order on 3 May. The Smartphone is powered by the great Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor and sport a 5.99 inch IPS LCD Full HD Plus Full View Display along with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device only comes in a black and grey colour variants and also comes with two memory variants, one with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage and a price of ₹10,999. The other variant of the phone comes with 4GB RAM and about 64GB of internal storage and a price of around Rs 12,999. In terms of the camera department, the device comes with a dual camera set-up consisting of a primary sensor of 13MP and a secondary sensor of 5MP. The front facing camera of the phone is about 8MP. Both the front and rear camera set-up of the phone comes with a dedicated LED Flash. Lastly, the phone also features a biometric sensor on the rear side and has a battery capacity of 5,000mAh in which Asus has claimed that the phone can deliver up to 25.3 hours of full HD video playback and charges fully in 2 hours and 42 minutes.
