In the current Smartphone market, it looks like almost every smartphone manufacturer is incorporating the iPhone X Style Notch into their newly released smartphones, but it seems that Xiaomi is looking forward to change this ridiculous trend going around in the current smartphone market, by not incorporating the iPhone X Style Notch into the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S which is probably going to be released in the coming weeks. Earlier, it was reported that the bezel less Mi Mix 2S will have an iPhone X Style Notch, while many others said that the Mi Mix 2S might include a corner notch design in order to house it’s front side camera.
A couple of teaser photos of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S was posted by Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun in which it can be clearly seen that the Mi Mix 2S will not be incorporating an iPhone X Style Notch. Xiaomi’s Brand ambassador Kris Wu can also be seen in the photos, posing with the Mi Mix 2S. These photos also confirm that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will be having a clean edge bezel less display. But not having an iPhone X Style Notch also means that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will have a pretty thick bottom chin in order to house it’s front side of camera. The promotional campaigns for the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S doesn’t necessarily depect the actual smartphone, but from the campaigns, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S look very much thinner and kind of similar to the original Xiaomi Mi Mix Smartphone.
Although, there are no rumours about the back side of the phone, but according to the earlier leaks, but it looks like the phone is going to have a dual camera setup which will be mounted vertically just like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. Regarding the specifications, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will be backed by snapdragon 845 with 8GB of RAM and a huge 256GB of internal storage. Not to forget, for the first time, the device will also support Wireless Charging. The launch for the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will be held on 27th of March which is apparently the same date for the launch of the Huawei P20 Phone.
