Sony Has A Pretty Provoking Excuse For No Headphone Jack On The Xperia XZ2

You must have heard many technology companies making it’s product announcements and launches look like it’s some serious breakthrough product launches, that’s probably going to change the world of technology as we know it. As far as anybody is concerned, that’s not at all ethicall wrong, in fact it’s seems pretty strange when they don’t make such announcements about their products.

The wrong thing is when they use it to control all the negative press against their products which is commonly known as “Damage Control”. This is the main reason why it provokes many people which ultimately results in people disliking their products or technology.

Take for example, Sony’s newest attempt to disinfect the reason behind removing the headphone jack from the most beloved Sony Xperia XZ2 Series. The reason sony gave for removing the headphone jack is because it was necessary to maintain their seamless design of the phone and because all the mainstream smartphone manufacturers are doing that, which they think is a major new smartphone trend, because the demand for wireless headphones are more than wired headphones in the market.

Why did you remove the headphone jack on XZ2 and XZ2 Compact?

This is part of the shift to our new Ambient Flow design language. In order to create the beautiful seamless design, our designers needed to remove the headphone jack. Plus, we’re aware of the major market trend toward wireless headphones over wired headphones.

But can I still use wired headphones with XZ2 or XZ2 Compact?

Yes absolutely, both new smartphones come boxed with an adaptor. This will also support Hi-Res Audio.
